In 2018 she made her debut as a music video director in Italy and Peru, where in 2019 she filmed two short documentaries on Afro-Peruvian music as editor and director. Mercuria is Unqiue

︎

Multi-Location:

We feel just as comfortable filming in a busy cities like New York and Madrid as deep in the jungle of the Amazon and Caribbean or in the deserts of Peru. We offer a wide range of location choices with highly creative professionals trained in cinema, advertising, and art.

Multi-Budget:

Because of our extensive experience working in different countries and with different budgets, crews, and languages, Mercuria has attracted clients around the world.
Our view of work and visual references is diverse, adaptable, and driven by our passion for filmmaking in all circumstances.

Film-Like experience:

All our directors and producers are more than just technical operators. Beyond working in the advertisement industry for years, the people in Mercuria’s team have also studied cinema, shot feature films, and won awards.
Mercuria’s participation in the production of a commercial or film can bring added value to the script from the outset of the concept. Our passion for filmmaking means we are committed to the story and to making the most out of a creative idea.

Sophisticated Aesthetic Look:

Thanks to our experienced technical team, we offer our clients the possibility to shoot with traditional filming gear, like 16mm or 35mm cameras, as well as high-end digital technologies at all levels.

Budget-Benders:

Since we each have a long background in working on independent and limited-budget productions of our own, we have become experts in finding the most cost-effective way to get the best looking images and most communicative stories.

Agile Management:

We are able to provide lower production costs thanks to our horizontal structure and agile working management. Producers historically make more money than directors or any other crew member. Since at Mercuria we cut the costs of executive producers, our so-called “production markup” is much lower than most production companies. We avoid the typical expensive production risks that commercial agencies are exposed to because of the early working engagement we offer to agencies. For the same price we offer more time in preproduction to assure the best results during the filming days, prioritizing quality and creativity instead of the cramped time management common in the industry for higher, nonhorizontal profits and markups.

︎Mercuria’s selling points:

Broad international experience

Agile relationships of collaboration

Sophisiticated aesthetic look

︎ Market Strenght:

No other production company in Costa Rica provides our kind of film-quality service backed by an award-winning team. All other commercial production companies in the current market are solely focused on finding technical solutions for a creative brief informed by advertising companies. We offer a film-like experience from the smallest to the most high-end commercial and creative/cultural productions.
