Kim Torres

Kim Torres is a Costa Rican director and screenwriter.  Her latest short film SOLO LA LUNA COMPRENDERÁ (2023) premiered at Locarno Film Festival and selected in more than 40 festivals around the world. Her previous short film LUZ NOCTURNA (2022) premiered in the Short Film Official Selection at Festival de Cannes 75. Her short ATRAPALUZ (2021) premiered in Locarno Film Festival 74 and has been selected at Mar del Plata, New Director’s/New Films of MoMa and Film at Lincoln Center, Cinélatino Rencontres Toulouse, Fic Valdivia, among others. She has recently released her firstfeature film IF WE DON'T BURN HOW DO WE LIGHT UP THE NIGHT.
